Marino record falls, but Rodgers still MVP fav
Despite breaking Dan Marino's record for number of passing yards in a season, Drew Brees remains the second favourite to win the regular season MVP this year.
He is 9/2 with William Hill behind runaway leader Aaron Rodgers at 1/7. Hills think the race for the MVP award is a straight head to head and have removed everybody else out of the market.
Their respective teams are 13/8 favourites (Green Bay) and 5/1 third favourites (New Orleans). Sandwiched in between the two NFC sides are the 4/1 New England Patriots.
"Drew Brees has done fantastically well this season but the feats that Aaron Rodgers and his side have achieved (barring a slight slip up against Atlanta) put him in the driving seat for the MVP award," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
