Champions League Play-Off Opta Facts - 2nd Leg

Club Brugge v Manchester United

Following their first-leg victory, Manchester United have won all five previous Champions League qualifying matches.

Club Brugge have not reached the group phase since 2005/06, when they were eliminated from a group that involved Juventus and Bayern Munich (despite two wins over Rapid Wien).

The Belgian giants have not beaten an English side since February 1995 (1-0 v Chelsea), drawing two and losing five since.

The Red Devils have never failed to score against Belgian opposition, netting 25 goals in seven games against them.

Following his first leg double in this tie, nine of Memphis Depay's 30 club goals since the start of last season have come from outside the box.

Man Utd have lost their last two European away games - they have not lost three in a row away from home in Europe since October 2003.

Brugge are unbeaten in their last 10 European home games (W6 D4), since last losing there in November 2012 versus Bordeaux.

Malmo v Celtic

This is the fourth consecutive season that Celtic are appearing in the play-off round; they qualified in 2012/13 and 2013/14 but were eliminated by NK Maribor last term.

Malmo have eliminated Scottish sides from Europe in two of the last four seasons (Rangers in CL qualifying in 2011/12, Hibs in EL qualifying in 2013/14).

Malmo featured in the Champions League group stages last season; the first time they had played in the European Cup proper since 1990/91, when they lost to Dynamo Dresden in the second round.

Celtic have won just two of their last 14 European away games (W2 D5 L7) - both of these victories have come in Iceland.

Malmo have kept a clean sheet in 10 of their last 12 European home games.
