Simply take a price when you place your bet on any UK or Irish horse racing meeting and we'll guarantee you the Best Odds. If the SP ends up being bigger than the price you took then we'll pay you at the bigger SP - it's as simple as that.
If you back your selection in the morning taking our Early Price of 4/1 and the SP returns at 5/1, you'll get the bigger price of 5/1. If the SP returns at 3/1 you'll still get paid at 4/1.

Mick, if you’ve taken an early price on a Best Odds Guaranteed race and there is a Rule 4 which effectively makes the SP bigger then we should be paying out the SP. If that isn’t the case then speak to Customer Services on 0800 085 6296

what I find more infuriating is when an early price has a rule 4 and the SP is bigger than original EP! Will rule 4s be an exception again are can you do something about that too?

does the best odds apply in the shops or is it only online, i placed a bet this morning in my local william hill on a horse at 7/2 and the sp was 11/1

yes that is my real name! makes w.hill more competitive with exchanges and sometimes better on lower price horses…will pay in long run to keep the good offers up…well done.

Now we need best odds in the shops. Coral have started doing this and WH have only just started doing this online. This is why I switched to paddy power and bet365. Good to see them catching up.
