New Zealand Hot Favourites For Home Win
William Hill rate New Zealand at 3/10 to beat Australia (13/5) when they meet in the semi-finals of the World Cup next weekend, with the Handicap suggesting that NZ are 8 points better than Australia.
The other semi looks too close to call with both sides offered at 10/11 to make it through to the final. "New Zealand came good when they needed to today and they look strong favourites to lift the Cup. We favour any side but Wales, they will cost us a seven figure payout should they win," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
Hills have seen a trickle of cash for Martin Johnson to still be in charge of England at the Start of the Six Nations at 1/2 but the odds suggest that Jonny Wilkinson's international career is all but over and he is 6/4 not to play in the first Six Nations match.
