Eagles to fly past Cardinals

After a long, gruelling season it is nearly Superbowl time! First we just have the not so small matters of the conference final games to decide which two franchises will meet at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on February 1.

For added interest and excitement we have enhanced the prices on a host of first touchdown scorers so you can get more for you money while enjoying this fantastic game.

Many have said that Arizona are the worst team to have made it to the conference finals in living memory but that is not entirely fair to the Cardinals.

They had a weak division in which they went 6-0 but did not do so well outside the NFC West where they went 3-7.

At odds of 33/20 they are unlikely to have too many supporters against the Eagles who are probably the most well balanced team left and worthy favourites at 10/19.

Arizona's defence has recently improved out of recognition but Philly have had one of the best defence's all season and Kurt Warner will do well to get much change out of the Eagles back-line.

The excellent form a host of Arizona's offence has been the key to their progress as their passing game was excellent but seemed to be their only option until recently.

Edgerrin James and Larry Fitzgerald have been truly fantastic in the last few games and are 6/1 and 7/1 respectively to score the first touch down.

For The Eagles, Donovan McNabb is finally starting to play like the star everyone knows he is. He has commanded the Philly offence with authority and his performances have improved at just the right time.

Brian Westbrook will be looking to get on the end of everything McNabb can throw out and will be very popular at the special enhanced price of 5/1 to score the first touch down.

The Eagles trounced the Cardinals 48-20 earlier in the season and while it is unlikely to be a similar score line Philadelphia would be disappointed if they did not ease through to the Superbowl final.

A winning margin of around 7-12 points at 7/2 looks fair and they should cosily cover the spread giving up 3.5 points at 20/21 with the Cardinals at 20/23 in receipt of 3.5 points.

The Cardinals have the ability to pull a shock result out, (having stunned Carolina 33-13 when they were ten point underdogs) but Philly will be ready and fully aware of the threat Arizona carry and the Eagles' excellent defence can carry them through for a shot at the Superbowl crown.
