Inspirational Manning can throw it all the way to Dallas
The Indianapolis Colts are warm 5/13 favourites as they travel to take on 11/5 shots the Jacksonville Jaguars as they bid to win their eighth game in a row.
The Colts had an indifferent start to the season slumping to a 3-4 record but have since recovered and are unbeaten since October taking their record to 10-4.
Coach Jack Del Rio's underachieving Jaguars on the other hand are 5-9 and have no chance of making the play-offs but will look to salvage some pride by stopping Indianapolis reaching the post-season for the seventh straight year.
Colts quarterback Peyton Manning will as usual be the key figure and is in good form. He has completed over 70 percent of his passes for the fourth game in a row and the Jaguars defence will have to be at their best to snuff out Manning's threat.
Tight end Dallas Clark has been the star in recent weeks, grabbing 12 of Manning's passes last week for a career-high 142 yards and a touchdown. He can be backed at 10/1 to be first touchdown scorer.
They will need their star quarterback to be at his throwing best as the Colts rush game is weak. The Jacksonville defence has been fairly solid in stopping rushes this season which will put even more emphasis on Manning's importance when taking the aerial route.
The Jaguars actually beat the Colts last time they met in an extremely tight game but that was at the start of the season when the Colts were just finding their feet. Coach Tony Dungy will not allow a repeat of that.
Indianapolis beat Jacksonville 29-7 in this fixture last season and have won three of their last four when playing at the Jaguars home.
The Colts have played out some very tight matches in the past few weeks but should easily be capable of covering a six-point spread at 91/100.
The Colts have everything to play for while the Jaguars have nothing but pride and there is no reason why their poor form should turn itself around now.
For those who think it will be very tight in this game the winning margins betting could be attractive with Indianapolis to win by 1-6 points or 7-12 points both 7/2.
Indianapolis will be supremely confident of coasting through to the playoffs with a victory in Jacksonville.
After a rocky start they have found their form and Manning can inspire them to yet another victory and keep the dream of Superbowl glory alive.
Indianapolis to win by 7-12 points - 7/2
Dallas Clark first touchdown scorer - 10/1
