Manning the stud to carry Colts to victory
Peyton Manning will be desperate to demolish the San Diego Chargers on Monday night, after a horror performance in the same fixture last year.
Manning threw an unbelieveable SIX interceptions in the 23-21 loss, three of them falling into the hands of Antonio Cromartie, as the Indianapolis Colts fell to their sole road defeat of the season.
"It was poor quarterback play on my part," Manning said, "I take full responsibility for all of them."
This season, Peyton, the older and most highly rated of the Manning quarterback brothers, made a slow start but, of late, he has been moving through the gears.
Last week, he completed 30 of 46 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns as he led the Colts to 33-27 victory against the Houston Texans.
Going into week twelve, Colts fans have every reason to be optimistic given Manning's resurgence, and to make matters worse for the Chargers, they have the lowest ranked pass defence in the entire NFL.
Anything other than a Colts victory in this one would be a big surprise to me, especially given LaDainian Tomlinson's lack of form for the Chargers.
Even better news is that Indianapolis are priced about 6/5 to win which is terrific value and should be backed at all costs.
