NFL: New England D-Line Could Be On The Offense
There was hardly a more majestic sight during this weekend's NFL than New England's Vince Wilfork striding 36 yards downfield, shielding the ball following an interception.
He never made it to the end zone but William Hill are offering 20/1 that he manages to go one better and score a touchdown this season. Hills go 4/1 about any Patriots Defensive Lineman scoring a touchdown this year.
"Wilfork leapt like a salmon before heading towards the end zone, bounding like a 350lb gazelle," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "His efforts, unfortunately, proved fruitless as he was hauled down just over the halfway line and the odds suggest he will struggle to go one further and score a touchdown any time soon."
William Hill NFL Odds:
20/1 Vince Wilfork to score a touchdown this season
4/1 Any New England Defensive Lineman to score a touchdown this season
