3/1 For Hatton To Hit The Top Again

Ricky Hatton today announced that he will be returning to the boxing ring and William Hill quote him at 3/1 to be a world champion (IBF, WBA, WBC, WBO) before the end of next year (2/9 he is not).

Britain's biggest bookmaker have  a number of special bets for the Hitman's return. He is 2/1 to be British Champion by the end of 2013 and 7/4 that he fights Amir Khan in the same time frame.

Should Ricky get one final fling with the big time, he is 11/2 to avenge his defeat to Floyd Mayweather, 6/1 to do so against Manny Pacquiao. He could also face British welterweight boxing's new leading light, Kell Brook and is 11/10 to defeat him.

"Ricky is quite rightly regarded as one of the best boxers the UK has ever produced and if he can come close to his best form of a few years back, he will undoubtedly have the big boys in his sights," said William Hill spokesman Mark Young.
