A record £5 Million gambled on all-Brit showdown

Audley Harrison is out to K.O the bookies as well as David Haye this weekend.

William Hill have extended their odds for Audley Harrison to beat World Champion, David Haye, to an industry-highest of 6/1, despite the fact that almost two thirds of the bets they have taken on the fight are for a Harrison win.

'Punters have really got behind Audley's bid to rule the world, but as a company we have made a decision to oppose him and are happy to take as much as cash as Audley's fans throw at us, and at the longest odds on offer - we may live to regret the decision, but this is the biggest betting fight involving two Brits since Lewis-Bruno, and with £5million likely to be gambled on the outcome we just hope Audley doesn't land a financial ko on us as well as David Haye - if he does we'll have to try to win it back when he takes on the Klitschkos!' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills will be betting online on the outcome of the fight throughout the contest.
