British boxing betting bonanza come Saturday
There is a veritable feast of British boxing taking place this weekend and William Hill are predicting a double knockout, offering 9/2 that Khan and Chisora win by means of KO - while a Fury and Khan KO double is 11/2. Amir Khan is the 1/6 hot favourite against Zab Judah and he is 5/6 to win by KO. Should Khan remain undefeated over the course of the next year, he could be lining up against Floyd Mayweather with Hills offering 5/2 that they fight in 2012. If they fight Hills make Mayweather their 2/9 favourite to emerge victorious and Khan 3/1.
"Every time Khan steps into the ring, he is the heavy favourite, but that will all change should he face Mayweather, who is at present a class apart," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
The Chisora vs Fury fight looks a much closer contest with Chisora the 8/13 favourite to win, while Fury is 13/10. The winner of the bout could potentially face Wladimir Klitschko and Hills offer 11/2 that the winner of the all British Bout defeats David Haye's victor. Klitschko is 1/10 to emerge victorious from any potential bout.
"A potential meeting with Wladimir Klitschko lies on the horizon for the winner of the British and Commonwealth bout on Saturday and while that should provide an extra incentive for Saturday night, we cannot see either fighter doing the business against the Ukrainian," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
