Hatton - Polished performance to punish Paulie

Malignaggi, whose only defeat was the 2006 fight against Miguel Cotto for the Light Welterweight Title in Madison Square Garden, believes he can take Hatton down... but boxing fans ask just how does Paulie plan to do this?

Paulie Malignaggi, becoming regarded as a "one hand fighter" has no specific punch to take care of business, no "Haymaker" - and if Paulie plans to go the distance, Hatton who feels his performance has become polished under the direction of Mayweather Sr, is quite capable of a 12 round slug fest.

After the Cotto affair, Malignaggi was left with cut eyes, a broken nose and a broken cheekbone - so we know the Italian/American can take a beating & continue to the 12th - but he may not have yet faced such bread basket action.

Ricky Hatton's power and body shots should be enough for a victory, the betting question being - not if Ricky Hatton will win, but how long can Paulie Malignaggi withstand the relentless pummelling of his mid section? Round 8... Round 9?
