Khan conquered but you bet Haye will be best of British
A contrasting night for British boxing, saw Amir Khan floored by Danny Garcia, but also marked the return of David Haye. William Hill are offering 11/10 that Khan is given a rematch with Garcia before the end of 2013 and make the Bolton fighter odds-on at 2/5 to avenge his fourth round knockout. Despite defeat, Khan called out Floyd Mayweather and they are 6/4 to face each other by the end of next year. Should they fight, Mayweather would be the red hot favourite, at 1/8 to win the bout.
David Haye's fifth round knockout of Derek Chisora showed that he still has the hunger for the fight and he is 9/4 to fight David Price before the end of next year and 10/3 to fight Tyson Fury in that time frame. Haye would be odds on for both fights, should they take place, with Hills going 4/9 for him beat Price and 1/6 to beat Fury.
"David Haye is used to being top billing and he may want to go straight for the Heavyweight jugular of Vitali Klitschko although the odds would indicate that he may have to settle for a British bout first," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
