Next British Heavyweight Champ... David Haye?
David Haye is set to announce that he will return to the ring this summer to rejoin the growing ranks of British Heavyweight boxers vying for national and world supremacy.
William Hill are offering a market on who will be the next British Heavyweight World Title holder and make David Haye 7/4 favourite closely followed by Tyson Fury at 3/1.
"David Haye is expected to confirm the news we all predicted and should he return, he immediately becomes Britain's best hope of having a Heavyweight World Title holder," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
David Price was rising through the Heavyweight ranks incredibly quickly until his progress was halted by his defeat to Tony Thompson, but he is 4/1 third favourite to be the next British Heavyweight World Title holder.
Audley Harrison is 25/1 to finally bag a World Title.
It is 7/2 for there to be no British Heavyweight Champion before the end of 2020.
David Haye is 50/1 to be named as the BBC Sports Personality of the Year this year.
