3rd Test: SA backed as England struggle to focus
William Hill continue to see a steady stream of cash for South Africa as punters favour them over an England team that are increasingly looking under siege.
South Africa are 7/4 favourites with England now out to 5/2. Rarely has an England captain come under more pressure and Andrew Strauss is 6/4 to score a fifty in his first Innings and 5/1 to score a hundred.
Stepping into KP's shoes is also certain to heap the pressure on Jonny Bairstow and he is 7/1 to be out for a duck but 5/2 to score a fifty.
"With their status as world number one in danger, England were already under the cosh but the KP issue has heaped further pressure, particularly on Strauss & Bairstow. Certainly our customers think that they will buckle," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
