7/1 for Sehwag's massive innings to be beaten
Virender Sehwag got the World Cup off to a fantastic start with a massive 175 as India 87-run victory over Bangladesh in Mirpur.
Sehwag shared a 203 run partnership with Virat Kohli, who scored 100 on his World Cup debut as India scored a mammoth 370-4. Bangladesh, hosting their first World Cup match, got off to a good start in reply but the pressure of the massive chase proved too much. It's 7/1 that any player hits more than 175 in the tournament.
Meanwhile, William Hill have trimmed India from 11/4 to 5/2 after their excellent performance with England also popular and now 8/1 from 9/1 after their warm up win over Pakistan. Hills offer 4/6 that another team surpasses India's 370 in the tournament.
"The odds suggest that we have seen the winner & the Innings of the tournament already, possibly even the highest team score," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
