Bopara Back Could Have England Ravi-ng
Ravi Bopara has been brought into the England squad to replace the injured Jonathan Trott and William Hill make him an 8/1 shot to be England's top scorer.
He is 25/1 to win Man of the Match and given that he is prone to taking the ball for a few overs, Hills make him 16/1 to be top bowler.
"Jonathan Trott has played very well in this series so far, but in Bopara, England have an equally good replacement. If he is as good as he can be with the bat, there is no reason why he cannot be the main man in England's line up at Edgbaston," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Virender Sehwag made his return for India against Northants, making a measly eight before being trapped lbw, but despite this, he is odds on at 1/8 to make his return against England at Edgbaston on Wednesday. He is 13/8 to score a fifty and 9/2 to score a century.
England are 6/5 to win the third test, while India are 7/2. The draw is priced at 11/8. Andrew Strauss is 4/1 joint favourite with Kevin Pietersen and Alastair Cook to be England's top batsman, while Rahul Dravid is 10/3 to do so for India. Tendulkar is 11/4 to finally reach his 100th test century during the match at Edgbaston but 4/6 to fail to do so throughout the remaining two tests.
England are 1/66 to win the series, while a draw is 14/1 and England are 1/7 to become the number 1 ranked test nation after the India series (4/1 not to)
