Cricket World Cup: Broad back to his best, KP to open!

William Hill have trimmed the price of Stuart Broad being England's top bowler of the World Cup from 9/2 to 3/1 after a solid performance against Canada and news that Swann still has a stiff back.

Kevin Pietersen has also been backed to be England's top run scorer after being promoted up the order to open with Andrew Strauss but his price remains unchanged at 7/2.

"Stuart Broad looked almost back to his best and he has been trimmed accordingly. As for KP it is not the first time that England have promoted a middle order batsman yet it has rarely improved their average!" said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
