England 7/4 To Bounce Back! Punters Pile ON Panesar!
Despite a disastrous series in Pakistan, the test side are being well backed to bounce back and they are 7/4 favourites to beat Sri Lanka in the first test, Sri Lanka are offered at 2/1. Alastair Cook is the new talisman for the England side and he is 9/4 to be the first England player to score a hundred in the series and 10/3 to be the top scorer in the first Innings. Monty Panesar has been the surprise move in the top bowler market and he has been cut from 4/1 to 5/2 joint favourite to take the most wickets.
"After their thrashing in Pakistan, England have no right to be favourites, but England backers have done well in the last couple of years and seem happy to dismiss Pakistan as a blip," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
