England Odds On To Get ODI Off To Winning Start!

William Hill believe that England are in the driving seat for the first ODI and they are the 2/5 to win. New Zealand can be backed at 15/8 and it is 6/5 that they score more sixes than England.

Run machine Alastair Cook is the 8/1 favourite to be named man of the match, with New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum a 12/1 shot.

"Despite the short price, England are being backed as if they cannot lose and we will be hoping that New Zealand have got their ODI 'A' game with them," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
