Wiggins Now 1/5 For Tour Victory As 33/1 Evans Blows It
Bradley Wiggins stretched his lead at the top of the Tour standings as Cadel Evans blew up and William Hill make the Brit 1/5 to secure the Yellow Jersey. Evans managed to stay with Wiggins until 5k to go and spectacularly imploded and he is now 33/1 to win with both Chris Froome (5/1) and Vincenzo Nibali (16/1) more fancied for victory than last year's winner.
"The Tour is now Wiggins' to lose and the odds suggest that it would need a blow out of epic proportions to not win now," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
