2/1 For Anyone To Top Record Breaker Taylor...When Will Lewis Get A Win?
Phil Taylor achieved the highest ever Premier League three dart average of 117 and William Hill are offering 2/1 that anybody beats that this season. "Phil has really laid the gauntlet down for his fellow challengers and with darts like this, there is a very good chance that someone could better 117 this season...especially the Power," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly.
Taylor is in scintillating form at the moment and he is the 4/5 favourite (from 11/10) to win the Premier League - the first time that he has gone odds on this season. Gary Anderson is the 4/1 second favourite and despite not registering a victory so far this season, Adrian Lewis 5/1.
Adrian Lewis was not on top form tonight and he is still without a win in this year's Premier League but William Hill are offering 6/4 that his next win comes against Simon Whitlock in Brighton. He is 2/1 to win against James Wade and 4/1 for his first victory to come against Kevin Painter. He is 9/2 to fail to win any of the next three matches.
"Lewis has been unlucky in some of his matches, but he was just not at the races tonight," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "The good news for Lewis fans is that class is permanent and it should not be too long before he bags his first victory."
When will Adrian Lewis get his first win of the season:
Week 5 (vs Whitlock) - 6/4
Week 6 (vs Wade) - 2/1
Week 7 (vs Painter) - 4/1
Week 8 or after - 9/2
