5/1 Jose and Pep renew rivalry in Prem next season
William Hill have slashed their odds of Jose Mourinho having left Real Madrid by the start of next year's La Liga season from 13/8 to 1/2 as punters rushed to back the Portuguese manager to up sticks.
The biggest bet placed on the market was a £300 wager from an online punter.
"We have seen one way traffic from punters who have been desperate to back the no side on this market and as far as they are concerned, he will be on a flight out of Madrid as soon as the season is over," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
There will undoubtedly be a clamour for Mourinho's signature, not least in the Premier League, with Manchester City the 7/4 favourites to be his next club. Chelsea are just behind at 3/1 with Manchester United 4/1 third favourites.
Long time adversary of Mourinho, Pep Guardiola, has claimed that he would love to manage in the Premier League because he never got to play there, but despite this, he is 2/5 to join Bayern Munich next. The shortest priced English side are Manchester City at 6/1 with Chelsea 7/1 and Manchester United 12/1.
William Hill offer 5/1 that both managers are working in the Premier League by the start of next season.
