Arsenal v Chelsea

Didier Drogba has scored eight Premier League goals against Arsenal, making the Gunners his joint-favourite opponent (with West Brom).

Chelsea have lost 29 points from winning positions against Arsenal in the Premier League, more than any side against any other, winning just 10 of 21 games in which they have held the lead (D4 L7).

The Blues have won just three of their previous 19 Premier League trips to the home of Arsenal, but those three victories have all come in their last six visits.

In this season's reverse fixture, Arsenal became the first side to score five against Chelsea in the league since Liverpool in September 1996.

Arsenal have won 12 and lost just two of their last 16 league games at the Emirates (2 draws).

The Gunners have scored in their last 16 consecutive home league fixtures.

Roberto Di Matteo has taken two fewer points from his opening six games in charge of Chelsea (11) than Andre Villas-Boas managed (13).

Arsenal have the Premier League's top scorer this season (van Persie, 27), but have also had a joint-league high 17 different goalscorers (with Everton).

Chelsea have scored (95%) and conceded (95%) the highest portion of goals from inside the area this season.

Aston Villa v Sunderland

There have been four red cards shown in the last six league matches between Villa and Sunderland.

The Black Cats have scored just six goals in 10 Premier League trips to Villa Park, and never more than once in a single match.

Indeed, in 21 previous PL clashes, only one side has ever scored more than twice in a single match (Villa won 3-1 at home in November 2005).

Martin O'Neill is unbeaten in eight previous Premier League games against his former club, winning four and drawing four (all with Leicester).

Aston Villa have only won one of their last 11 league games (D5 L5).

At home, the Villans have only claimed victory in one of their last 10 (D3 L6), netting just eight goals in the process.

Sunderland have failed to win any of their last four league games, their worst run since the sacking of Steve Bruce.

The Black Cats have failed to score in three successive league games, they last went four on the spin without scoring in April 2011.

Aston Villa have lost 17 points after having scored the first goal this season, a joint-high.

Sunderland have taken just four short corners all season, a league-low.

Blackburn Rovers v Norwich City

Blackburn scored three goals from four shots on target in this season's reverse encounter.

Rovers inflicted on Norwich their heaviest ever Premier League defeat in October 1992, hammering them 7-1 at Ewood Park.

The Canaries have kept just two clean sheets so far this season: only one team (West Brom last season) has ever had fewer after 34 PL games.

Blackburn have lost five Premier League games in a row for the first time since December 2008 under Paul Ince.

Blackburn have conceded 73 goals this season so far. Only four sides have conceded more after 34 games in the history of the Premier League.

None of Norwich's last eight away league games have ended in draws (W4 L4).

Blackburn are the only team in the Premier League yet to score a deflected goal this season.

Norwich have the best total crossing accuracy in the Premier League this term (27%).

The Canaries have scored a league-high 15 headed goals.

Bolton Wanderers v Swansea City

Swansea have only won one of their last 11 against Bolton in all competitions (D4, L6), but that was in this season's reverse fixture.

Danny Graham netted at both ends as the Swans beat the Trotters 3-1 back in October.

The Swans are without a win in nine at the home of Bolton (5D, 4L), a run that stretches back to September 1980 (all competitions).

Bolton have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last nine league games, conceding at least twice in seven of them.

The Trotters have only managed one shutout in their last 10 at the Reebok Stadium.

None of Swansea's last 11 league games have ended in draws (W5 L6).

If only second-halves counted, Bolton would be bottom of the table with just 30 points.

Fulham v Wigan Athletic

Wigan have won just one of their six Premier League trips to Craven Cottage (D1, L4), scoring just three goals in the process.

Overall, the Latics have won just two of 13 against the Londoners, and none of the last 10 (D6, L4).

Only one of the previous 13 Premier League games between Fulham and Wigan has seen over 2.5 goals.

Clint Dempsey has scored six goals in nine league appearances against Wigan, more than against any other team.

This week, Wigan became only the fourth team in Premier League history to beat Manchester United and Arsenal in the space of six days (or fewer).

Wigan have scored in their last eight away league games, the longest current run in the Premier League.

Fulham have only lost one of their last eight league games at Craven Cottage (W5 D2).

Only Manchester United and Newcastle United (both 15) have taken more points from their last six games than the Latics (13).

Wigan have fielded more unchanged teams than any other side in the Premier League this season (11).

The Cottagers are the only team in the Premier League yet to be shown a red card this season.

Newcastle United v Stoke City

Demba Ba has scored four goals in two league games against Stoke, making the Potters his joint-favourite Premier League opponent (with West Brom).

Papiss Demba Cisse currently has the best minutes/goal ratio in Premier League history, netting a goal every 68.4 minutes.

The Potters have won one and drawn one of their two previous Premier League trips to the Sports Direct Arena, and last lost in the league there in April 1990.

If all games had finished at half-time this season, Stoke would be in 19th place ahead of only Wolves.

The Magpies have won their last five Premier League games and are just two short of their record in the competition (seven).

Newcastle have kept four clean sheets in their last five league games, including the last three in a row.

The Potters have failed to win any of their last seven on the road (D3 L4).

Stoke have netted the highest percentage of headed goals in the top-flight this season (38%).

Newcastle have conceded a league-high nine penalties this season.

The Potters have the worst tackle success rate in the Premier League this season (70%).

Queens Park Rangers v Tottenham Hotspur

Both sides have found the net in eight of the previous nine Premier League meetings between the R's and Spurs.

QPR have only won 14 of their previous 48 Premier League London derbies (D15, L19).

The R's have, however, won three of their last four top-flight games at Loftus Road against fellow sides from the capital (1L).

QPR's last seven games have alternated between an away defeat and a home win. For this run to continue, they must win this game.

Tottenham have failed to score in three successive away league games. If they fail to net at Loftus Road, they will equal their Premier League record of four without a goal on the road.

Spurs have failed to win any of their last seven away games, their worst run since November 2007.

Mark Hughes' side have won their last three home league games. They last won four in a row in the top-flight in December 1994.

Tottenham are the only Premier League side yet to score from a free kick situation this season (direct or indirect).

Queens Park Rangers have been shown seven red cards this season, only four teams have ever been shown more in a 20 team Premier League campaign.

Spurs have conceded a league-high 31 handballs this season.

Manchester United v Everton

Manchester United have won 29 Premier League games against Everton, the joint-most by one team against a single opponent in the history of the competition.

The Toffees won 3-0 at Old Trafford in their first ever Premier League away game (August 1992), but have failed to win any of their other 18 trips to Man Utd in the Premier League (D3, L15).

Wayne Rooney has only scored two goals in 11 league games against his former club.

Javier Hernandez has scored in a 1-0 win in both of his two previous clashes with the Toffees.

Everton have scored just two goals in their last seven league trips to Old Trafford, and have failed to net in their last three.

In this season's reverse fixture, Everton had 19 shots to United's seven, but the Red Devils won 1-0.

United have won their last seven league games at Old Trafford, conceding just one goal in the process.

The Red Devils have scored in their last 47 home league games, eclipsing Arsenal's previous Premier League record of 46.

Since 2009/10, Ashley Young has won more Premier League penalties than any other player (nine).

Victor Anichebe has scored more goals as a substitute than any other player this term (five).

Liverpool v West Bromwich Albion

Liverpool have won all five previous home games against West Brom in the Premier League without conceding a single goal.

Going back further, the Baggies haven't won any of their last 21 trips to Anfield (since 1967) in the top-flight (D4, L17).

Overall, the Baggies have lost 10 of their 11 PL clashes with the Reds without troubling the scorers, winning the other 2-1 last season.

Roy Hodgson's win percentage as manager of West Brom (37%) is now higher than it was during his spell with Liverpool (35%).

Liverpool have drawn a league-high nine home games this term.

Only seven teams have taken fewer points on their own patch than Liverpool have mustered this term (24).

West Brom have lost three of their last four away league games (1D) and have failed to keep a clean sheet in 15 games on the road.

Just 4% of the goals the Baggies have conceded this season have come from corners, a league-low proportion.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester City

There have been four penalties awarded in six PL meetings between Wolves and Man City, all of them to the away side.

Edin Dzeko has already scored three goals in two appearances against Wolves this season (all comps).

Only two of the last 24 league meetings between Wolves and Man City have ended in draws.

Carlos Tevez has scored four goals in three Premier League games against Wolves.

Wolves have lost their last eight home league games, the second worst run in Premier League history (Sunderland; 10).

Wanderers have also conceded in their last 16 home league games. If they concede here, they will equal the Premier League record of 17 home games without a clean sheet.

Wolves are the only Premier League team yet to score in the opening 15 minutes this season.
