Adebayor gunning for more

Emmanuel Adebayor should return to the Arsenal side for the clash with Middlesbrough live on Sky Sports 1 on Saturday. The striker was rested for the midweek defeat away to Porto.

The Togo hitman has ten goals to his name in all competitions and is an even money shot to add to his tally against Boro.

Arsenal travel to the north-east following the defeat in the Champions League to Porto. Arsene Wenger took the opportunity to rest some key players for that match and will not be too worried about the 2-1 loss.

Wenger can now focus on the Premier League as the Champions League now takes a break until late February.

The Gunners will be looking to make it three Premier League wins in a row against Middlesbrough after beating Wigan last time out and Chelsea previous to that.

In the match betting Arsenal are available at 8/11 to get the three points however this looks a little short. On their day the Gunners can beat anyone as proved when beating Chelsea the other week.

However Wenger's young side are inconsistent and don't appeal at the price. A better bet looks like being the draw at 5/2.

Three of the last four matches between the sides have ended as draws with 1-1 being the scoreline on each occassion.

You can get 11/2 about a 1-1 draw on Saturday and that looks a rather generous price.

A shock home win for Boro can be backed at 4/1 but this looks beyond Gareth Southgate's side on the evidence of their last three matches, defeats to Bolton and Hull and a draw with local rivals Newcastle.
