Arshavin can inspire Arsenal win
Arsenal may have lost their last game to Roma but that was their first defeat in 17 games and are 2/7 in the betting to get the better of Hull in the FA Cup.
Hull find themselves at odds of 7/1 to over come and Arsenal side who are starting to look like they might mount a serious challenge for some silverware this season.
Having looked down and out just a month ago following draw after draw, Arsene Wenger finally seems to have turned things around at least domestically.
Odds of 7/2 about the draw would have seemed big just a few weeks ago but since the return of the likes of Eduardo who is 4/1 favourite to open the scoring, and the introduction of the excellent Andrei Arshavin who 11/2 in the betting to score first, The Gunners look a new side.
To Phil Brown, it must feel like a lifetime ago that his Hull side went to The Emirates as massive underdogs and pulled off a stunning 2-1 victory against all the odds.
That fact that The Tigers are 25/1 to repeat that score line shows how they have gone in to free-fall in the second half of the season.
Things have picked up recently though and they managed a decent 1-0 victory away to Fulham two games ago before drawing 1-1 with Newcastle.
If they are to be victorious 1-0 could perhaps be the right score line again which is available at 11/1 with 1-1 draw at odds of 8/1.
Many are fancying Arsenal to rack up a cricket score which is the reason that scores like 3-0 and 4-0 are as short as 6/1 and 12/1 respectively.
Robin van Persie will be looking to impress if he gets a run out as he has found himself on the bench in some recent games but still maintains joint favouritism at 4/1 to score first.
Young Carlos Vela is available at 9/2 with the in form Niklas Bendtner 5/1.
Hull have recently started to find the goal again and there have been a host of people chipping in with nine different scorers scoring their last nine goals.
Daniel Cousin, Craig Fagan and Manucho have all been on the score sheet in that period and are 9/1, 10/1 and 10/1 respectively to score first.
Geovanni scored last time and if he can get back to the scintillating form he was in at the start of the season, Hull could be in with a chance and he appeals at 4/1 to score anytime.
While anything can happen in the FA Cup, it looks like Hull are meeting Arsenal at the wrong time and a home win is more than likely.
The Arsenal/Arsenal double result will have a lot of people getting on it at 8/11 as opposed to the short match price while draw/Arsenal is 10/3 or if you fancy Hull to spring a late shock maybe Arsenal/Hull is for you at 33/1?
The Tigers as always will give it a good go and we could see quite a few goals in this game with Hull having nothing to lose and The Gunners getting back in to the scoring mood, and Wenger will not want a replay which indicates they will be sent out to attack.
Wenger will not risk letting the chance of silverware go by fielding a whole team of youth players and you can expect the big guns to be out to ensure no mishaps.
This should be entertaining and while Hull will no doubt battle until the end, and can most likely get a goal, Arsenal seem to have their spark back and should have no problem of booking their place in the FA Cup semi-final.
Arsenal to win 3-1 - 10/1
Andrei Arshavin to score first - 11/2
