AVB:Looking for an Italian Job

Chelsea are staring into a season defining two weeks and if all is to be believed, they are United. Well for their sake let's hope not as United aren't in the Champions League anymore.

Napoli are standing between them and the next round and with their inability to get past Birmingham at the weekend, a sense of doubt may well be justified for AVB and co.

Chelsea are 4/7 to progress, although should they fail to get a result, which is quite probable, this will drift and it may well be worth holding off until the return leg.

We have a match winner offer on this game, will Drogba come to the rescue and score in a Chelsea victory, we are offering 5/1 that this happens, greatly enhanced from 7/2.

You can back the travelling Blues at 11/5 to cause an upset and beat the Italians on their own patch. While Napoli are favoured at 7/5 and the draw at 2/1.

This so-called United Chelsea, as wrong as that sounds, will need to put their egos to one side ahead of the clash. Those who questioned AVB will need to step back in-line with their Portuguese manager as make no mistake, any weakness will be exploited by Napoli.

The home side have only lost once in their last five games, while Chelsea are struggling to remember their last wins. A series of draws have seen the Stamford Bridge side stall in both league and cup and their ambitions of returning to the Champions League next season may rest on them winning it this season.

Edinson Cavani, the 25-year-old Uruguayan, is the most in-form striker in the Serie A and he is confident that both he and his teammates can beat Chelsea. You can back Cavani at 6/1 to open the scoring and 7/4 for anytime scorer.

Danie Sturridge could be a real danger for Chelsea, despite his infrequent appearances as of late, the youngster can cause the Napoli defence a real headache. He is 8/1 to open the scoring and 11/4 to hit the net anytime.

This is going to be a tight game, with less on the line for Napoli they may feel a lot more adventurous and I think a double result of Napoli/Draw at 14/1 could be a good shout.

If Chelsea take an early lead then they could potentially rout their opponents, backing them to win -1 goal at 6/1 seems like a value punt, remember it is Chelsea after all.
