Awesome Ozil to oust stubborn Stoke | Betting Preview

Arsenal (4/11) take on Stoke (9/1, draw 4/1) in what is, on paper, a less super match than the afternoon's later Super Sunday game.

It should be one worth watching though, as the Gunners have a history of struggling against the Potters physicality. In a match of contrasting styles it could be the most stylish player on the pitch who has the biggest influence.

Mesut Ozil looks to fit Arsenal's playing style perfectly and is already a very influential player for Arsene Wenger's side having impressed in some good league and Champions League performances. I don't think the Gunners are naps to win this match by any means but the added value of our Headline Offer that Ozil scores and Arsenal win (5/2) looks worth taking advantage of.

Three out of the four matches in the Premier League that Arsenal have played have had a 3-1 scoreline, which includes two wins for the north London outfit. 3-1 Arsenal correct score is 12/1, which might be worth a small punt.

Olivier Giroud has scored first in all four of Arsenal's Premier League matches this season and is 4/1 to do so again with our fantastic OPTA Offer. That price looks decent value considering the Frenchman's prolific early season record. Aaron Ramsey has found his scoring touch this season, and 11/1 about him scoring the opener in this match is a great price.

Stoke have been decent this season, holding Man City to a 0-0 draw at the Britannia last weekend to follow up two good wins against West Ham and Crystal Palace. I think the best Stoke can hope for in this match is a draw (4/1) so if you think they'll get something from the game, back that.

I fancy the match to be closer than the match betting suggests, so Stoke +2 in the Match Handicap market at 8/11 looks fantastic value.

All in all it's definitely an interesting tie and there looks to be some great value available. Arsenal should win, but Stoke will push them close if they carry out the same gameplan they used against Man City.

Recommended bets:

Giroud first goalscorer - 4/1

Stoke +2 - 8/11
