Battle of Britain or men against Bhoys?
Tuesday's Champions League match between Man Utd and Celtic has been dubbed as the Battle of Britain, but surely Man Utd will have far too much for Gordon Strachan's side. With attackers of the quality of Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez among others, United look to have far too much firepower for the Hoops. To add to their problems Celtic are without two of their own attackers in Georgios Samaras and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. Then of course there is Celtic's infamous record away from Parkhead. All things point to a comfortable Man Utd victory at odds of 1/4.
England's other representative in the Champions League on Tuesday is Arsenal. They face a tricky looking match away at Fenerbahce in the hostile atmosphere of Istanbul. Arsene Wenger is also without a number of his more experienced players and as we all know there aren't many of them at Arsenal. Nevertheless the Gunners still have a very talented team and look worth backing at evens.
German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich host Fiorentina and with Luca Toni facing his old club alongside such players as Miroslav Klose and Franck Ribery Bayern look more than capable of defeating the Italians. Jurgen Klinsmann's side can be backed at 4/5 for victory.
A treble on these three matches pays odds of 7/2 and is well worth a bet.
