Belgium site owner plans to wager all his commission on Euro 2016
London-based marketer Daniel Tannenbaum launched a Belgium world cup fan site last month and plans spend all his affiliate commission on Belgium to be the outright winner of Euro 2016.
The website is called belgiumtowineuro2016.com and has been launched after 1 year of preparation. "As a die-hard Spurs fan, I show a natural affiliation for Belgium since Moussa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen and Nacer Chadli will play key roles. I wanted to create a focus on the Euro 2016 which is why I called the site Belgium to win euro 2016. The World Cup will be a great opportunity for this Belgium team to gain some experience after not qualifying since 2002. However, the Euro 2016 competition should be a very realistic goal for a team that also boasts the talent of Christian Benteke, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku."
The fan site offers regular updates on the Belgium team with some very quirky articles about Belgium fans, kits and players.
The site generates revenue through affiliate marketing. Daniel explains: "I have two pages on the site showing a list of odds from William Hill for the World Cup and Euro 2016. William Hill offers a commission for every new customer that signs up. Despite being live for only a few weeks, the site has reached over 3,000 Twitter followers and this will gain good traction during the World Cup. Hopefully I will earn good commission due to William Hill's £25 free bet offer and I plan to spend all the commission I get from William Hill by wagering it on the William Hill website for Belgium to win euro 2016 with odds currently at 10/1."
