Blackburn eyeing United double

United have twenty-eight points from a possible thirty in their last ten league games.

However, they have struggled against Blackburn in recent years and they were defeated at home by Rovers in one of the Premier League's biggest shocks earlier this season.

Rovers have lost just twice in their last nine home matches with United. Rovers are 7/1 to win the clash at home, the draw is 7/2 and the away win is 2/5.

Three points is massive for both teams. Kean's Blackburn side may have been beaten by Bolton last week but they have improved as the season has progressed.  The turning point for their season was the 3-2 shock win at Old Trafford.

If you fancy them for the double over United, you can back them at 9/2 draw no bet.  They are 9/5 in the double chance market, to win or draw the clash.

United can take one step closer to winning the title. They are as short as 1/6 to win it and three points would be pivotal. They are no longer in Europe, so they have no distractions.  Blackburn's main man is Yakubu, he has been a revelation since he moved from Leicester.

He is 8/1 to open the scoring and he is 11/4 to find the net anytime. He has formed a fantastic partnership with Junior Hoilet. It has been rumoured in the press this weekend that he will quit the club at the end of the season, regardless of whether the club stay up.

Hoilet's form has landed him plenty of potential suitors. The Canadian footballer netted in both halves in a comfortable 2-0 win over a poor Wolves side recently. He looks a big price at 10/1 to open the scoring and he is 7/2 to score anytime.

There were five goals involved in the reverse fixture earlier this season and over 2.5 goals is 6/10. Blackburn are an attacking outfit and I fancy them to find the net.  Both teams to score is 4/5 and Rovers are 10/1 to win to nil.

Rooney has scored in four of his last five Premier League appearances against Rovers. He is 11/4 to open the scoring and 8/13 to find the net anytime.

Manchester United have kept more clean sheets than any other side in the top division, they will be embarrassed at conceding three goals against Blackburn at home.  They are 10/11 to keep a clean sheet and 11/8 to win to nil.

For the Match Winner, we've enhanced the price on a penalty being scored in the game from 11/4 to 4/1. Patrick Viera, Man City's football development executive has claimed that United have been given preferential treatment by referees this season and it would be no surprise to see Rooney put away another penalty.
