Bruce won't take a Toffee hammering

Steve Bruce has injury worries as he welcomes Everton to the JJB Stadium as part of our Monday night offering of live football.

With Emile Heskey and Amr Zaki both doubtful it's hard to see where Wigan will get their goals from. Melchiot is also a doubt and with Emerson Boyce suspended there's also a lack of experience at the back - Titus Bramble will be required to perform his defensive duties and score up front as he managed against Newcastle last weekend.

Wigan's home record is appalling; Everton's away record is good. But Wigan need the points so desperately that Bruce will have whatever bunch of players he can get out on the park fired-up for tonight's game on Setanta Sports. One point takes them back out of the relegation zone - a win would mean a jump of three places.

Wigan are due to score tonight to maintain their 0.5 goals per home game but will need to defend well to halt Everton's two-goals-per-game away record. And they will - 5/1 says that the game will be a 1-1 draw.

The Sky Sports team are bringing you Barnsley v Burnley live tonight from 19:45.

Burnley are having a great season and are well fancied at 13/8 to win in South Yorkshire this evening. Their tendency to concede away from home will give Barnsley a chance of at least a draw against a team some 12 places ahead of them in the Championship. 5/2 about there being exactly two goals in the game is a good interest bet.

The third live football game this evening comes all the way from Portugal but you can watch it live on your PC for free on William Hill's betlive tv.

Vitoria Setubal v Belenenses is the live game from the Portuguese Supa Liga. Both teams are struggling this season sitting just above the relegation zone in twelfth and thirteenth positions. This "six-pointer" will secure the victor some breathing space.

Belenenses have not won away from home this season and the hosts will be looking to capitalise on this and record their first win since September. Draw at half-time, Setubal to win at full time pays 9/2 in the Double Result market. 6/1 is your reward for a 1-0 home win.
