Can New Signings Rescue United? 11/4 To Finish In Top Four.
As Manchester United lost once again, there is talk that they will need to dip into the transfer market if they are to ignite their diminishing chances of earning Champions League football. United are 14/1 to start four or more new signings in their first match after the transfer window shuts - at home against Fulham on the 9th February. They are 13/8 to start no new players on that day.
United are 11/4 to finish in the top four - behind not just Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, but behind Liverpool and Tottenham as well.
"Things are anything but rosy for Manchester United at the moment and a few new faces must surely come through the door if their diminishing hopes of a top four finish are to be realised," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
After another defeat for Swansea, they seem to be sleepwalking towards the relegation zone. Despite being just three points above the relegation zone, however, William Hill make them 8/1 to be relegated.
