Champions League Opta Facts 26-27 April

Manchester City - Real Madrid

o Manchester City and Real Madrid's only previous competitive encounter was in the 2012/13 Champions League group stages. The Merengues won 3-2 at the Bernabéu before a 1-1 draw at the Etihad.
o Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last eight games against English sides in the Champions League (W6 D2). The last English team to knock Real out in the competition were Liverpool in 2008/09 (5-0 on aggregate in the Last 16).
