Champions League Opta Facts - 8-16 March

Wolfsburg - Gent

o Wolfsburg have won their last three Champions League games, their best ever run in the competition.
o Wolfsburg and Gent are in the knockout stages of the Champions League for the first time in their history. Gent are also the first Belgian side to reach the latter part of the competition.
o Wolfsburg have only lost one of their six Champions League home games, that was against Manchester Utd in December 2009 (1-3).
o Only one of Wolfsburg's 13 games in the Champions League has ended in a draw, that was against Besiktas in October 2009 (0-0).
o Gent's last six Champions League games have all been decided by a one-goal margin (W3 L3). Their three away games have all ended 2-1 (once in their favour, twice against).

o PSV have never beaten Atletico Madrid in European competition (D1 L2). They've also never won an away game against a Spanish team in the Champions League (D1 L3).
