Statistics and facts to help your football betting are available every week at William Hill courtesy of Opta Sportsdata, Europe's leading provider of sports performance statistics.

Arsenal v Porto

  • Arsenal have won only three of their last 15 knock-out games in the Champions League, losing their last three (both legs against Manchester Utd in the semi-final last season and the first leg of the last 16 against Porto this season).
  • Arsenal have hosted Porto twice at the Emirates, scoring six goals and conceding none.
  • The last non-English side to beat Arsenal on their own pitch in the Champions League were Inter Milan who won 3-0 at Highbury back in September 2003.
  • Porto have a dreadful record when they have travelled to England in European competitions: in 14 visits to these shores, they have lost 12 times and drawn twice.
  • Sol Campbell has only scored two goals in 40 Champions League games, both of them coming in his last two outings.

Fiorentina v Bayern Munich

  • Fiorentina have never won against Bayern Munich in European competition, losing twice and drawing once.
  • Bayern Munich are unbeaten in their last four trips to Italy in the Champions League (two wins, two draws).
  • The Bavarians have won their last three Champions League matches.
  • La Viola have only lost once at home in 12 Champions League games (1-2 v Lyon last season).
  • Fiorentina are the joint-top scorers, along with Real Madrid, in this season's Champions League with 15 goals.
  • The Bavarian side has scored two goals from the penalty spot, a competition-high this season alongside AC Milan.

Real Madrid v Lyon

  • Reald Madrid have been eliminated in their last three knock-out encounters with French clubs: against Paris SG in the UEFA Cup in 1992/93; against Paris SG in the Cup Winners Cup the following season; and against Monaco in the Champions League in 2003/04.
  • Lyon are unbeaten in their five encounters against Real Madrid (three wins, two draws). During that time, the seven-time French champions have never failed to score against the Merengues.
  • Real Madrid's last draw at the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League was against Lyon (2-2), back in November 2006.
  • Real Madrid have been knocked out at the last 16 stage in each of the last five seasons.
  • Cristiano Ronaldo is the top scorer in this season's competition, with three of his six goals coming from direct free-kicks.

Manchester Utd v AC Milan

  • On the four occasions that the Rossoneri have met United in Europe, they have eliminated them from the competition.
  • The last side to win at Old Trafford in the knock-out stages of the Champions League was AC Milan, back in February 2005.
  • Manchester Utd have scored 54% of their goals in the last 15 minutes of games in this season's Champions League (seven out of 13).
  • Paul Scholes has netted three goals in this season's Champions League, his most prolific campaign since 2000/01 when he scored six.
  • Wayne Rooney's last two braces in the Champions League have come against AC Milan.
