Di Matteo sparkling in Milton Keynes
It's not common for 'stylish' and 'Milton Keynes' to be uttered in the same sentence but Roberto Di Matteo really has brought Italian flair and style to the Milton Keynes Dons, all in the space of six months.
The former Chelsea star has been nothing short of sensational in his short time at the helm of the Dons, leading his team to second place in League One, five points clear of third placed Millwall.
The achievement is even more impressive given the previous work of the highly touted Paul Ince led to initial doubts over the credentials of the Di Matteo, yet all doubts have been dispelled with aplomb.
So after Milton Keynes' stylish start to the season what is next for the Dons...most likely a comfortable win against mid-table Colchester United on Monday night at stadium:mk.
The Dons have won ten of their last twelve matches, including impressive victories over promotion rivals Tranmere and Leeds United, and look great value at 8/11 to make The U's their next victim.

Colchester, priced at 4/1 to win, have suffered from a lack of consistency so far this season as great results, such as the away win at Elland Road, have been overshadowed by disappointing home losses against basement clubs Hereford and Leyton Orient.
The introduction of new manager Paul Lambert has seen an upturn in fortunes for Colchester but it still seems unlikely they can match the dominant Dons.
The U's can take heart from the absense of influential Dons' midfielder Alan Navarro who serves a one match ban, however Miguel Angel Llera returns to the defence after his own suspension while Aaron Wilbraham and Sam Baldock will continue up-front.
On the first scorer market it is hard to look past Aaron Wilbraham at 5/1, as the Dons' hot-shot has been in terrific form with three goals in the past three matches and also netted the first of the game away at Colchester back in September.
Although other interesting opportunities for the first scorer could be Milton Keynes top-scorer Sam Baldock at 11/2 or The U's giant targetman Clive Platt at 8/1.
However, even if Colchester do find the net, they surely don't have enough to challenge the Dons, so the 8/5 about Milton Keynes to be winning at half-time and full-time on the double result market should be a banker and could be the bet of the day.
