Norway v Hungary

  • This will be the 18th meeting between these sides; Hungary have the upper hand in this    showdown, having won seven times previously (D5 L5).
  • Norway are unbeaten at home in four home games (W2 D2); their best run in all competitions since October 2011, when they put together a streak of seven matches without defeat (W6 D1).
  • Hungary have tasted defeat in successive attempts versus Norway, conceding six goals without reply across those matches.
  • 89% of the goals conceded by Hungary in qualifying came from open play; a competition-high (equal with Luxembourg).
  • Only Andorra (37) were awarded more yellow cards than Hungary during the qualifiers (33).
  • Three of Norway's last six goals scored in qualifying were converted by Alexander Tettey and he comes into this game having been on the scoresheet in successive appearances for his country.

Bosnia and Herzegovina v Republic of Ireland

  • Republic of Ireland ran out 1-0 winners in the only previous meeting between these teams (May 2012); Bosnia and Herzegovina were away from home on that occasion however.
  • The Dragons have only tasted defeat once in their last eight home games played in all competitions; winning six times (D1).
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina conceded 58% of their goals in the qualifying round in the 15 minutes leading up to half time; a competition-high.
  • Republic of Ireland have failed to score in six of their last 11 matches away from home in all competitions (W2 D5 L4).
  • Both sides are in the European Championship playoffs in successive attempts (Bosnia and Herzegovina lost to Portugal in 2012 whilst Republic of Ireland got past Estonia).
  • Edin Dzeko has scored in each of his last three home games in the European Championships.

Ukraine v Slovenia

  • This will be the fifth times these sides have faced off, Slovenia are yet to taste defeat against Ukraine (W2 D2).
  • This is a repeat of the Euro 2000 playoff, Slovenia won it 3-2 on aggregate to progress to the finals.
  • Ukraine have only lost two of their last 17 home games in all competitions (W11 D4).
  • Slovenia were one of only two teams (Romania being the other) to go the entire group stage of the qualification process without conceding a goal in the first half.
  • Valter Birsa has been directly involved in five goals in his last five starts for Slovenia in European qualifiers (one scored and four assists).
  • Andriy Pyatov (Ukraine) had the best save percentage of any goalkeeper to feature in 10 qualifiers during this campaign (84.6%).

Sweden v Denmark

  • Denmark have mustered only one win in their last eight matches on the road (all competitions).
  • Four of the nine goals conceded by Sweden in the group stage were from the penalty spot (44.4%); a competition-high share.
