  • The Villains have progressed to the Fourth Round of the FA Cup in six of the last seven seasons.
  • Villa also boast an excellent recent home record in the competition having won 10 of their last 11 at Villa Park, with their only defeat in this period a 1-2 loss to Sheffield United in a Third Round tie in January 2014.

  • In fact, the Bantams have kept a clean sheet in six of their last seven FA Cup matches.
  • Bury have faced Bradford three times in the FA Cup (W1 L1 D1). The previous occasion prior to this season's 0-0 draw was a First Round tie in November 1991 with the Bantams winning 1-0 at Gigg Lane.
  • The Bantams are unbeaten in 10 FA Cup home games (W7 D3) - last losing at Valley Parade to Leyton Orient in a Second Round tie in November 2008 that finished 1-2 to the visitors.
  • Bury have won just one of their last seven away FA Cup games (L4 D2) - although that victory came in their last encounter on the road as the Shakers overcame Rochdale 1-0 at Spotland in Round 2.

Bolton v Eastleigh

  • Bolton are unbeaten in 20 FA Cup matches against non-league opposition (W16 D4), since a 0-2 defeat against Chesterfield in January 1911.
  • The Trotters have progressed beyond the FA Cup Third Round in each of the last six seasons, since losing 1-2 away to Sunderland as a Premier League outfit in January 2009.
  • Eastleigh have never faced a side from the top two tiers away from home in the FA Cup proper (excl. qualifying), but the Spitfires progressed in both Round 1 and Round 2 this season with victories on the road without conceding a goal.
  • Eastleigh have only ever played six games in the FA Cup proper (W3 D1 L2), managing to score at least once in each of those matches.

Leicester v Tottenham

  • Liverpool have never lost to a fourth-tier side in 14 games in the FA Cup (W11 D3), winning four of their six home ties (D2), and progressing on each occasion.
  • The Reds have drawn their last two home FA Cup ties 0-0, and have never gone three Cup games at Anfield without scoring.

  • Northampton have reached the Fourth Round twice since 1990 - the most recent time coming after beating Rotherham 2-1 in a replay in 2004.
  • The Cobblers have lost each of their three visits to MK Dons, and prior to beating Coventry in the First Round, they had lost their last five of their last six Cup ties against higher-ranked opponents (D1).

  • Pompey have only beaten a higher-ranked side in the FA Cup twice in the past 16 games (L9 D5), and have not defeated a side at least two divisions above them since beating Birmingham City 5-2 in a First Round tie in January 1909 - a run of 11 games without a win (L8 D3).
  • Ipswich have been eliminated in each of their last two FA Cup ties against lower-ranked opposition, progressing in each of their previous four.
  • The Tractor Boys are unbeaten in their last 15 trips to face Portsmouth in all competitions (W8 D7), since losing an old Second Division encounter 4-2 in October 1966.

Reading v Huddersfield

  • Reading reached the FA Cup Semi-Finals for only the second time in their history last season, losing 2-1 in extra-time against Arsenal.
  • The Royals have failed to beat opponents of the same rank at home in nine games (L7 D2), since a 3-0 win over Leyton Orient in the Second Round in December 1992.
  • Huddersfield have faced Reading four times before in the FA Cup (D2 L2), including at this stage last season when the Royals won 1-0 at the John Smith's Stadium thanks to Neil Blackman's strike.
  • The one other occasion they were drawn against each other in 1986 went to a replay, which Reading also won away from home 2-1, following a 0-0 stalemate in the initial tie.
  • These two sides have already faced each other at the Madejski Stadium this season, with the Championship fixture in November also finishing 2-2.
  • Huddersfield attempted 11 shots on target in the original match of this tie - only Arsenal (13 v Sunderland) managed more in the FA Cup third round matches.
