Arsenal v Coventry City

  • Arsenal have won their last four meetings with Coventry in all competitions, scoring 12 and conceding two.
  • Olivier Giroud scored his first competitive goal for the Gunners against the Sky Blues in a 6-1 League Cup win in September 2012; the most recent meeting between the sides.
  • Arsenal have progressed through 11 of their last 13 FA Cup Round Four ties, with both defeats coming against fellow Premier League sides.
  • In-form Sky Blues striker Leon Clarke has netted three times in three FA Cup appearances this term.
  • Arsenal have scored at least once in 26 of their last 28 home FA Cup games.
  • Coventry City have lost just one of their last 11 competitive matches (W5 D5 L1).

Nottingham Forest v Preston North End

  • The Tricky Trees have scored exactly twice in five of their last six meetings with PNE (all comps), scoring three in the other game in this run.
  • Nottingham Forest have lost five of their last six FA Cup fourth round ties, with their only victory coming in 2004/05 against Peterborough United.
  • Joe Garner is the top scorer at a club still active in this season's FA Cup, with five goals in the competition so far.
  • Nottingham Forest have kept a clean sheet in six of their last nine FA Cup games at the City Ground.

  • Birmingham have already knocked Swansea out of the Capital One Cup this season at St Andrews, winning 3-1 back in September.
  • The Blues have made the fifth round of the FA Cup in three of the last four seasons, knocking Premier League Everton out at this stage in 2009/10.
  • Swansea have only won two of their previous nine FA Cup fourth round ties.
  • Blues have only won three of their last 24 FA Cup games against higher-ranked sides (D9 L12).
  • Swansea have only kept one clean sheet in their last 10 outings in this competition.

Bolton Wanderers v Cardiff City

  • Bolton are unbeaten in five meetings with Cardiff in all competitions (W4 D1), including an FA Cup victory in December 1999 when Eidur Gudjohnsen scored the only goal of the game.
  • Craig Noone scored in both league meetings with Bolton last season, though Cardiff failed to defeat the Trotters en route to promotion (D1 L1).

Huddersfield Town v Charlton Athletic

  • Huddersfield have found the net in each of their last 10 FA Cup games.
  • These two sides have met in two domestic cup competitions since the start of last season, with Huddersfield winning both their League Cup meeting earlier this term and their FA Cup clash in 2012-13.
  • Joel Lynch has scored for Huddersfield in both of their competitive meetings with Charlton Athletic this season.
  • Marvin Sordell has scored five goals in his last six FA Cup games.
  • Yann Kermorgant has netted five goals in his last seven competitive appearances for Charlton Athletic.

Port Vale v Brighton and Hove Albion

  • This is the first FA Cup meeting between Port Vale and Brighton & Hove Albion since January 1932, when Vale won 2-1 on the south coast.
  • Vale have not made the fifth round of the FA Cup since 1995/96, when they defeated Everton in a replay at this stage.
  • Brighton have scored in 12 of their last 13 fourth round games (excluding replays), but have only won five of them (D1 L7).
  • Vale hitman Tom Pope has scored in three of his last five FA Cup appearances.
  • The Seagulls are unbeaten in eight FA Cup games against teams from lower divisions, though they have drawn five of these clashes.

Man City v Watford

  • The Citizens are unbeaten in six home meetings with Watford in all competitions, winning five, drawing one and scoring exactly three in each victory.
  • Manchester City have won eight of their last nine FA Cup fourth round ties, losing only to then-Championship Sheffield United in 2007/08.
  • Alvaro Negredo has scored three goals in just two previous FA Cup appearances.
  • Watford have lost their last six FA Cup games against teams from higher divisions and are winless in 10 (D2 L8).
  • Sergio Aguero has scored five goals in six FA Cup appearances.

Rochdale v Sheffield Wednesday

  • The Owls have kept five clean sheets in their six previous competitive meetings with Rochdale (W4 D1 L1).
  • Despite that, Sheffield Wednesday have never won at Spotland in major competition (D1 L1).
  • This is only Rochdale's fourth appearance in the FA Cup fourth round and their first since 2002/03. They have won their last two ties at this stage, however.
  • Wednesday have only made the fifth round once since relegation from the Premier League in 1999/00 (2010/11, when they beat Hereford 4-1 at this stage).
  • Wednesday have only lost one of their last 12 FA Cup games against sides from lower divisions.

Southampton v Yeovil Town

  • Saints have won four and drawn one of five previous competitive clashes with Yeovil, winning all three previous games on home soil.
  • The Glovers have only made the fifth round of the FA Cup once in their history, and that was way back in 1948/49.
  • Rickie Lambert has scored three goals in his last three FA Cup appearances for the Saints.
  • In round three, Yeovil scored four goals in an FA Cup game for the first time since November 2005 (4-0 v Macclesfield in the first round).
  • Southampton have won 14 and lost just one of their last 17 FA Cup matches against teams from lower divisions.

Southend United v Hull City

  • Hull City are unbeaten in five meetings with Southend in all competitions, winning four and drawing one.
  • Southend manager Phil Brown spent four years as Hull gaffer between 2006/07 and 2009/10, gaining promotion to the Premier League in 2007/08.
  • In 11 previous FA Cup fourth round matches (excluding replays), Southend have never kept a clean sheet.
  • The Shrimpers have not made the fifth round of the FA Cup since 1992/93.
  • Anthony Straker has scored three goals in three FA Cup games this season.

Sunderland v Kidderminster Harriers

  • This will be the first ever competitive meeting between Sunderland and Kidderminster Harriers.
  • Sunderland have lost four of their last five ties at this stage of the competition, though they did win their last tie back in 2011/12.
  • Kidderminster have made the fourth round of the FA Cup once before, beating Preston 1-0 on 1993/94. They then lost to Premier League West Ham in Round Five.
  • Between 1994/95 and 2009/10, all 10 non-league sides to reach this stage of the FA Cup were eliminated in the fourth round. Since then, however, two of three to make it this far have made it to Round Five.
  • Since the Second World War, only two top-flight sides have been eliminated in the fourth round by a non-league side, and one of them was Sunderland (v Yeovil in 1948/49).
  • Michael Gash has scored three goals in four games in the FA Cup proper this season.

Wigan Athletic v Crystal Palace

  • Wigan and Palace have met three times in all competitions before, with each side winning once and the other game ending level.
  • The Latics have only made the fifth round twice before, doing so in 1986/87 and last season, when they eliminated non-league Macclesfield Town in the fourth round.
  • The Eagles have not won any of their last five initial fourth round FA Cup games (D3 L2), though they have progressed twice after replays.
  • Wigan have lost 10 and won none of their last 11 FA Cup games against teams from a higher division.
  • The Eagles ended a run of four consecutive away defeats in this competition with victory at West Brom in the third round.

Stevenage v Everton

  • This is the second cup meeting between Stevenage and Everton this season; the Toffees won 2-1 in the Capital One Cup at Goodison Park back in August, with Marouane Fellaini grabbing an extra-time winner.
  • Stevenage have only once before made the fifth round of the FA Cup (2011/12).
  • The Toffees have progressed to the fifth round of this competition in each of the last three seasons.
  • Francois Zoko has scored four goals in three FA Cup appearances this term.
  • Everton have not been eliminated in the FA Cup in an away game (excluding neutral venues) since 2005/06, when they lost a fourth round replay to Chelsea.

Sheffield United v Fulham

  • The Blades have won all four previous FA Cup ties against Fulham, only once needing a replay to get through.
  • None of the last 10 clashes between the Blades and the Whites in all competitions has ended in an away win (seven home wins, three draws).
  • Sheffield United have lost their last three fourth round games, conceding 10 and failing to trouble the scorers once.
  • After 10 consecutive fourth round tie victories between 1998/99 and 2010/11, the Whites have gone out at this stage, away from home, in the last two campaigns.
  • Clint Dempsey has scored six goals in his last five FA Cup games.

Chelsea v Stoke City

  • Stoke ended a run of 12 games without a win in all competitions against Chelsea with a 3-2 home victory in December.
  • The Blues have won their last six at Stamford Bridge against the Potters, however, keeping a clean sheet in their last five.
  • Chelsea have won 24 and lost just one of their last 31 FA Cup games (including replays).
  • Excluding penalty shoot-out defeats, Chelsea are unbeaten in 25 FA Cup games at Stamford Bridge (W21 D4).
  • The Potters have won five and lost just one of their last seven away FA Cup games.
