AFC Wimbledon v Coventry

 

  • AFC Wimbledon have won their three FA Cup first round ties, all after a replay.
  • Coventry City have won their last five FA Cup matches against sides from a lower-tier of the league system.
  • Coventry have won three successive games, conceding just one goal.
  • The Dons have won just one of their last seven competitive matches (W1 L4 D2).

 

Bristol Rovers v York

 

  • Bristol Rovers have exited the FA Cup at the first round stage in four of the last five seasons.
  • York City have won just one of their eight competitive away games this season (W1 D3 L4).
  • Bristol Rovers have won just one of their last 11 competitive matches (W1 D4 L6), although this came in their last game versus Oxford United.

 

Accrington Stanley v Tranmere Rovers

 

  • Accrington Stanley have won two of their last three FA Cup home games against teams from a higher league-tier.
  • Tranmere have progressed in four of their last five FA Cup ties against lower league opposition.
  • Accrington are unbeaten in five competitive games (D3 W2).

 

Boreham Wood v Carlisle

 

  • Boreham Wood have lost their last four FA Cup first round ties and have failed to score in the last three of those.

Bristol City v Dagenham & Redbridge

 

  • Bristol City have not won an FA Cup tie since January 2007; losing their seven ties since then.

  • Sheffield United have the joint worst away record in League One this season, winning just one point (D1 L7).

  • This is the third time in four years that Corby have reached the first round of the FA Cup, but they have lost the previous two ties.

  • Dover have won seven of their last nine games in all competitions (L1 D1).

 

Gillingham v Brackley Town

 

  • Gillingham have lost two of their last three FA Cup ties against non-league opponents (Burscough in 2005 and Dover in 2010).
  • This will be Brackley's second appearance in the first round of the FA Cup, with their first ending in a 2-1 defeat to fellow non-league side Eastwood Town in 2008.
  • Brackley are currently in second position in the Conference North, four points behind leaders Hednesford.
  • Gillingham have won three of their last four home games in all competitions (L1).

 

Gloucester City v Fleetwood Town

 

  • Gloucester City have lost four of their previous five FA Cup first round ties, with their solitary victory coming in November 1989 versus Dorchester Town.
  • Excluding qualifying matches, this is the first time that Fleetwood have been drawn away in the FA Cup since November 2009 (after six successive home draws).
  • Fleetwood are top of League Two, having won more games than any other side in their division (9).

 

Grimsby v Scunthorpe

 

  • Grimsby Town have won just two of their last seven FA Cup first round ties.
  • Scunthorpe have failed to score in three successive FA Cup games.

  • Hartlepool have lost three successive FA Cup matches, conceding 11 goals in the process.

  • Kidderminster have won their last three FA Cup games against non-league opposition from the first round onwards.
  • Sutton won their last FA Cup first round tie - 1-0 versus Kettering in 2011.
  • Kidderminster have lost just one of their last eight games in all competitions (W4 D3 L1).

 

Leyton Orient v Southport

 

  • Leyton Orient have won three successive FA Cup first round ties - the last two of which have come against non-league sides.
  • Southport have lost their last four FA Cup first round ties.
  • Orient are the only side in League One yet to lose a home game this season (P7 W6 D1).

 

Lincoln City v Plymouth

 

  • Lincoln City have won their last three FA Cup first round ties.
  • Plymouth Argyle have lost four successive FA Cup first round ties.

  • Morecambe have scored just four goals in their last six FA Cup matches.
  • Five of the last six FA Cup ties that Southend have been involved in have gone to a replay.

  • There were 24 goals scored in the six FA Cup games involving Oldham Athletic in 2012-13.

  • Peterborough United have failed to score in five of their last six FA Cup home games.
  • Exeter have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the first round stage in each of the last three seasons.

  • Exeter have not won any of their last three competitive matches (D1 L2), failing to score in two of these games.

 

Preston v Barnet

 

  • Preston have won eight of their last nine FA Cup first round ties.
  • Excluding qualifying matches, Barnet have failed to score in four of their last six FA Cup games.
  • Preston are unbeaten in four games (W2 D2), although their two home games in this run have ended in a draw.

 

Rotherham v Bradford

 

  • Rotherham have scored in all of their last six FA Cup games.
  • Bradford City have lost four and drawn one of their last five away FA Cup games.
  • Bradford are without a win in five competitive matches (D2 L3).
  • However, Rotherham are also without a win in five (D2 L3).

 

Salisbury v Dartford

Stevenage v Portsmouth

 

  • Stevenage have lost five of their last seven FA Cup first round ties.
  • Including their FA Cup final defeat in 2010, Portsmouth have now lost four successive FA cup matches.

  • Cheltenham are unbeaten in three successive games in all comps (W1 D2).

 

Torquay v Rochdale

 

  • The last five FA Cup matches at Plainmoor have ended in a 1-0 scoreline (W2 L3).
  • Rochdale have won just one of their last eight FA Cup first round ties.

  • The Saddlers have won just one of their last six competitive home games (W1 D2 L3).

Wrexham v Alfreton

 

  • Wrexham were knocked out at this stage of the FA Cup by Alfreton last season; losing 4-2 at home.
  • Alfreton have won two of their last four FA Cup first round ties, both against non-league opponents.
  • Wrexham have won their last three competitive games at home without conceding a single goal.

 

Wycombe v Crewe

 

  • Wycombe have lost three of their last four FA Cup first round ties, including in each of the last two seasons.
  • Crewe defeated Wycombe Wanderers in the first round of the FA Cup last season; winning 4-1 at home.
  • Crewe have won just one of their nine competitive away games this season, losing seven (D1).
  • Wycombe have scored in 13 successive games in all competitions.

 

Bishop's Stortford v Northampton Town

 

  • This will be Bishop's Stortford's fourth FA Cup first round appearance since 2003, but they have lost each of the previous three (2003, 2006 and 2012).
  • Northampton Town were knocked out of the first round of the FA Cup by non-league opposition in 2011, as they went down 0-1 away at Luton Town.
  • Northampton have lost more games than any other side in League Two this season (9).
  • Bishop's Stortford are the highest placed side in the Conference South still left in this season's FA Cup (3rd).

 

Burton Albion v Hereford United

 

  • Burton have progressed to the next round in four of their last five appearances in the FA Cup first round.
  • Hereford have won three of their last four FA Cup first round ties, including a victory over league side Shrewsbury last season  (3-1).
