Get your fix of football friendly betting!

The World Cup may be over but the football doesn't stop here at William Hill.

With the domestic season rapidly approaching it's that time of the year when clubs are welcoming new signings, managers are drawing up their battle plans for the upcoming campaign and football fans get to sit in the sun and squint for 90 minutes wondering who that new number nine is upfront!

As a veteran of football friendlies I must confess to enjoying the day out at a lower league ground, sampling the hospitality of the real grass roots of English football.

Normally though I come away from the match either massively deflated and pessimistic for the new season or buoyed by a half decent performance that has made me wrongly believe that my side could actually do well.

We're offering odds on a number of matches this week to keep your football betting ticking over into the 2010/11 season.

Tonight, relegated Burnley travel to Lancashire rivals Oldham hoping to build up some momentum ahead of their return to the Championship. Brian Laws knows he must deliver from the first whistle and a trip to Boundary Park will offer him the opportunity to view new signing Ross Wallace in claret and blue.

Everton are in Australia to face Melbourne Heart while Celtic have also travelled, this time to the USA where they'll face Philadelphia.

Other teams in action this week include Leeds, Bolton, West Ham, Fulham and Portsmouth.
