Hughes to splash the cash at QPR

QPR have confirmed that Mark Hughes will take over from Neil Warnock and faces a real challenge in his quest to stave off relegation.

The Hoops are 2/5 to stay up and 7/4 to go down. Hughes has only ever finished in the bottom half of the Premier League once although QPR are 1/12 to fail to make it into the top half of the league this season.

Hughes will be given a large kitty in order to achieve his goals this season and Hills offer 7/1 that he signs six or more players during January although the favourite is two or three new signings to arrive at 11/10.

"Mark Hughes has undoubted pedigree but he faces a real challenge to make much of an impact this season," said Hill's spokesman Joe Crilly. "Survival is the ultimate goal and we think that QPR are on course to do just that."

How many permanent players will Mark Hughes sign in January: 3/1 0-1; 11/10 2-3; 9/4 4-5; 7/1 6 or more

Premier League Relegation: 4/9 Wigan; 4/7 Blackburn; 8/11 Bolton; 13/8 Wolves; 7/4 QPR; 7/2 Swansea; 7/1 Norwich; 14/1 BAR

Premier League To Stay Up: 13/8 Wigan; 5/4 Blackburn; 1/1 Bolton; 4/9 Wolves; 2/5 QPR; 1/6 Swansea; 1/16 Norwich; 1/66 BAR

Henry Backed For Special Spurs Send Off!

Thierry Henry marked his return to Arsenal by bagging the only goal in the Gunners' victory against Leeds, coming off the bench to do so and William Hill offer 7/2 that he comes off the bench to score against Swansea this weekend.

He is 4/1 with Hills to get the first goal of the match and the same price to score the last goal while Evens is offered for him to score anytime. Potentially, Henry's last game could come against Spurs and William Hill make him 9/2 to score during that game.

Henry's second debut could not have gone any better and Hills offer 4/1 that he will be back at Arsenal again next season.
