Bari v Cagliari

  • The record of previous meetings between these two sides in Serie A is perfectly even: five wins each and six draws; Bari have scored 21 goals, the Sardinians 20.
  • However, Cagliari won both fixtures last season, 1-0 at the San Nicola and 3-1 in Sardinia.
  • Cagliari's win at Bari last season ended the hosts' unbeaten run at home against the Sardinians, after four wins and three draws.
  • Bari have conceded only three goals on the eight occasions they have hosted Cagliari at home in the top-flight.

Cesena v Lecce

  • This will be the seventh meeting between these two sides in the top-flight: Cesena lead by three wins to two, with one draw.
  • At home, Cesena have a 100% record in their three meetings with Lecce, and have always scored three or more goals in each of these fixtures.
  • Newly promoted Lecce and Cesena ended last season's Serie B campaign top and second in the table respectively, earning direct promotion to top-flight.
  • Cesena won both fixtures last season in Serie B: 3-1 at the Manuzzi, 2-1 away in Puglia.

  • Chievo and Brescia have met eight times so far in the top-flight: each side has won twice with four draws completing the record.

AC Milan v Catania

  • AC Milan are unbeaten in their last 18 Serie A meetings with Catania (nine wins and as many draws); Catania's last win over the Rossoneri was in May 1963 (1-0).
  • At home AC Milan are still unbeaten against Catania in 13 Serie A meetings (nine wins and four draws), and have kept a clean sheet in seven of these games.
  • The Rossoneri are unbeaten in their last 12 home games (eight wins and four draws), and have won the last three without conceding a single goal.

  • Udinese have beaten Juventus on the last two occasions they have hosted the Old Lady; prior to this, Juventus managed a run of 11 unbeaten games at the Friuli.
