It’s a fair cop! Hills pay out at 16/1 as Bellamy arrested!
Craig Bellamy has once again won punters a long-odds payout, after he became the first Premier League player of 2011 to be arrested.
Bellamy was a 16/1 chance to be the first this year which added to his 100/1 stunner when, playing for Liverpool, he marked scoring a goal by making a 'golf-swing' celebration shortly after being accused of hitting a team-mate with a golf club.
"Bellamy has proved very punter-friendly for those gambling on off-beat football betting markets." Hills have reopened their market on the next Premier League footballer to be arrested.
"It could become as popular as the next manager to lose his job," said Hill's spokesman "and we are making Joey Barton and Andy Carroll 7/1 joint favourites."
