Kightly returns with a bang
Michael Kightly returned to Wolves' line-up with a goal helping them to a 2-1 victory over Coventry. Though it was the assistant referee who was the main talking point after the match as Wolves' second which was headed home by Sylvan Ebanks-Blake was dubious to say the least. Ebanks-Blake came back on the pitch from behind the goal without the flag going up.
The victory meant Wanderers returned to the top of the table and were cut from 4/1 to 10/3 in the betting. This was mainly as a result of Birmingham only managing a 1-1 draw away at Burnley. The Blues drifted from 5/2 to 11/4. Third placed Reading (3/1) could not continue thir recent good form and fell to a 2-1 defeat away at Preston.
Cardiff moved up to fourth following a 2-0 home victory over Charlton and were duly cut from 40/1 to 28/1.
A £10 treble of Cardiff, Preston and Wolves would have paid fantastic returns of £104.28. Remember it pays to bet with William Hill as we offer the best prices.
