League 2 Opta Facts - 2 January

Bristol Rovers v Luton

Rovers haven't lost at home to Luton since December 1980, winning six and drawing two since that game.

Luton's last away clean sheet at the Pirates came in December 1975, with the Hatters conceding 27 goals in 13 consecutive games since.

Stuart Sinclair scored an 94th minute winner in injury time when the two sides met earlier this season (Luton 0-1 Bristol Rovers, 18th August 2015).

Luton managed just one shot on target in the reverse fixture.

Cambridge v Wimbledon

Cambridge have never lost to the Dons in the Football League, winning two and drawing one of three games.

Although they've never beaten the U's in the Football League, Wimbledon won two of the four meetings between the sides in the Conference between 2009 and 2011 (D2).

Indeed, the Dons have never lost in their three visits to the Abbey Stadium (W1 D2).

There were less than two minutes between Cambridge's goals v Wimbledon in August's fixture, seeing them run out 2-1 winners at Kingsmeadow.

Carlisle v Plymouth

The Cumbrians have lost only twice at home to Plymouth in their league history (in 1965 and 2002) in 17 games, winning nine and drawing six.

The Pilgrims have lost one of their last 10 against Carlisle (W6 D3).

Carlisle conceded four times in August's game in Plymouth, the first time they had conceded four goals in a game to them since September 1980.

Jake Jervis netted his first and second goals of the season in the meeting between the two sides in August.

Exeter v Dag & Red

Exeter have lost only one of their 11 Football League games against Dagenham since they first met in January 2009 (W6 D4).

Although Dagenham have always scored in games against Exeter, on only one of those occasions did they score more than once, netting exactly once in 10 games.

Tom Nichols has netted in both of the last two league games against the Daggers at St James Park.

Jamie Cureton has scored in three of his six league games against Exeter City, with two of those goals coming for Dagenham.

Mansfield v Accrington

Mansfield's last victory at Field Mill against Accrington came in the FA Cup in November 2006; they have lost three home league games in a row since then.

Since re-joining the Football League in 2006, Stanley have never lost to Mansfield in a league game, winning seven and drawing two.

Seven Mansfield players picked up yellow cards in August's trip to Accrington, including goalkeeper Brian Jensen.

Sean McConville scored the game's only goal in the reverse fixture back in August.

Newport v Hartlepool

The Exiles have scored exactly twice in each of their last three home league games against Hartlepool, but have won only one of those games (D1 L1).

Pools are unbeaten in four league games against Newport since February 2014 (W2 D2).

Matt Taylor is the only player in the current Newport squad to have scored against Hartlepool, however, this goal came back in May 2010 for Exeter.

In this fixture last season, the Exiles came from two goals down to draw 2-2 after Pools raced into a 2-0 lead after 37 minutes.

Northampton v Barnet

Northampton, who beat Barnet 2-0 the last time they met at Sixfields in April 2013, are looking to win back-to-back home games against them for the first time since February 2000.

The Bees have won three of their last four games against the Cobblers (L1).

Northampton last scored more than twice in a league game v Barnet in April 1995, winning 3-2.

John Akinde scored both of Barnet's goals in August against the Cobblers. He then went on a 11 game-run without scoring for the Bees.

Notts County v Oxford Utd

County have failed to net in three of their last four games at Meadow Lane against Oxford, though they won the one they did score in, winning 2-1 in May 2001 (D1 L2).

The U's have won four of their last five against County stretching back to August 2004 (D1).

The last time Notts County scored more than once in a league game v Oxford was in May 2001, winning 2-1.

Alexander McDonald missed a penalty in this fixture in August, the first of four penalties Oxford missed between the start of the season and the end of October (scored three).

Portsmouth v Crawley

This is only the fourth meeting between the two sides, with both sides earning a win apiece (D1).

The Red Devils' only two goals against Portsmouth in three league meetings came at Fratton Park on Boxing Day 2012 in a 2-1 win.

August's match is the only goalless draw contested between Portsmouth and Crawley.

Crawley managed just one shot on target in August's fixture at Broadfield Stadium.

Stevenage v Leyton Orient

Stevenage have failed to score in six of their seven league meetings with Orient (W1 D1 L5), scoring only once in the other game.

The O's have won their last four in a row against Stevenage without conceding a goal.

No player in the Stevenage squad has scored against Leyton Orient for the club, however, Chris Whelpdale scored against Orient in March 2009.

Each of Leyton Orient's goals in their 3-0 win over Stevenage earlier in the season came in the final 16 minutes.

Wycombe v Morecambe

Wycombe have lost one of 13 league meetings with the Shrimps and beat them earlier this campaign at the Globe Arena (W8 D4).

Morecambe's only victory against the Chairboys came in this fixture last season, a 1-0 win in April.

There have been just three goals scored by the home team in this fixture, in the last six meetings between Wycombe and Morecambe.

Morecambe hold just two clean sheets in 13 Football League matches against the Chairboys.

Yeovil v York

Yeovil won the only other game between the two sides at Huish Park in September 2003, winning 3-0 with goals from Kirk Jackson, Colin Miles and Adam Stansfield.

York won this fixture 1-0 earlier this season with a goal from James Berrett.

In fact, James Berrett is the only player in either squad to have scored against the opposition.

Yeovil could muster only one shot on target in this fixture in August, while York had 11 from outside the box.
