League 2 Opta Facts: Sept 13

Accrington Stanley v AFC Wimbledon

  • Accrington Stanley are unbeaten in six previous Football League meetings with the Dons, winning five and drawing once.
  • AFC Wimbledon have conceded two or more goals in all three of their trips to Accrington, losing all three.
  • Accrington have shipped two or more goals in each of their last five games in league competition (12 in total).
  • Adebayo Akinfenwa has committed more fouls without receiving a card than any other player this season (21).
  • Matt Tubbs has scored in five of his six league games this term for AFC Wimbledon. Indeed, Tubbs has netted six league goals this term, more than any other player.
  • James Gray has bagged three goals in his last three matches for Stanley.

Burton Albion v York City

  • Burton Albion have won only one of their four matches against York City in the Football League (D2 L1).
  • The Minstermen have only failed to score against Burton once in those four games, though this did occur in their last meeting in March.
  • The Brewers have won six of their last seven home league contests, losing the other.
  • York City are unbeaten in 23 league games (excluding playoffs), winning 12 and drawing 11.

  • Carlisle have won their last four home matches against Bury, always scoring two or more goals in the process.
  • Bury have gone nine games against the Cumbrians without a victory (D2 L7).
  • After failing to score in his first eight appearances for Carlisle, Kyle Dempsey has scored three goals in his last two (all comps).

Luton Town v Cheltenham Town

  • The Shrimps have faced 85 shots from their opponents this season, a joint-league high with Cambridge.
  • The Pilgrims have kept one clean sheet in their last eight away games, though it came in their most recent clash versus Luton (1-0).
  • Morecambe have lost only once in their last 10 home games in League Two, winning four (D5).

Newport County v Northampton Town

  • Newport County lost both of their matches against the Cobblers last season.
  • Northampton Town have scored in each of their last 14 matches against Newport.
  • Having lost their opening three, Newport are now unbeaten in three (W1 D2).
  • Marc Richards' brace against Dagenham & Redbridge has meant he's scored three in his last two for Northampton Town.
  • No side has conceded as many as Newport in the opening 15 minutes of the second half (3).

Southend United v Portsmouth

  • Southend have won their last three league games against Portsmouth by a 2-1 scoreline.
  • Pompey have been victorious only once in their last six visits to Southend (D1 L4).

Stevenage v Shrewsbury Town

  • Stevenage have kept just one clean sheet in their last 12 games in league competition.

  • Andy Mangan has scored three goals from just three shots on target in 2014/15.

Wycombe Wanderers v Mansfield Town
