League One Opta Facts – 11-12 January

Bradford City v Bristol City

  • The Bantams are unbeaten in their last nine league games against Bristol City (W6 D3)
  • Bristol City's last league win away at Bradford came over a century ago in December 1908, drawing four and losing nine of their visits since.
  • Indeed, of those 13 trips to Bradford, the Robins have never mustered more than a single goal against their opponents.
  • Bradford haven't won any of their previous seven home games in League One (D4 L3).
  • Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has scored 11 times in his last 14 appearances for Bristol City (in all competitions).

Brentford v Port Vale

  • After losing their three previous league clashes with Port Vale 1-0, Brentford are unbeaten in four against them (W3 D1).
  • The Vale have won just one of their previous eight league games at Griffin Park (D2 L5).
  • Sam Saunders has scored in each of his last four league games for the Bees.
  • Likewise, Port Vale's Gavin Tomlin has scored in each of his last four appearances (in all competitions).
  • Port Vale are the only side in League One yet to claim a draw away from home this season.

Colchester United v Gillingham

  • Colchester have scored in all but one of their last 14 league fixtures against the Gills.
  • Gillingham have won just two of their last 13 league games against Colchester, with both victories coming at the Priestfield Stadium.
  • The U's have won their last three at home to Gillingham in the league and are unbeaten in six against them (D3).
  • The Gills have failed to score in three of their last four league games against Colchester.
  • Colchester have dropped the most points from leading positions in League One this season (18), while Gillingham have lost a point less (17).
