League Two Opta Facts | 7 -8th February

Newport v Fleetwood

  • Newport are without a league win in five attempts, losing three (D2).
  • Fleetwood won the reverse fixtures between these sides earlier this season, courtesy of a Steven Schumacher hat-trick and a David Ball goal.
  • The Exiles have scored in each of their ten home league games this season, the longest run in the division.
  • Fleetwood are the only side in the division yet to pick up an away point from behind this season.
  • Newport are the only League Two side yet to score from outside the area from open play this term.
  • The Cod Army have been awarded seven spot kicks this season, a League Two high.

Wimbledon v Rochdale

  • The Dons have won their last two league matches against Rochdale, with all three goals arriving in the second half.
  • There have been two red cards in three previous meetings between the sides, with Rochdale's Joseph Rafferty the last player to be giving his marching orders.
  • Wimbledon have picked up 13 points from behind at home this season, more than any other side.
  • Dale have scored 11 times in the opening 15 minutes this season, a League Two high.
  • By contrast, Wimbledon are the only side yet to score between the 1st and 15th minute.

Bristol Rovers v Oxford Utd

Dag & Red v Hartlepool

  • The Daggers have netted in each of their previous three league meetings with Hartlepool, though they've yet to score more than a single goal.
  • Both of Hartlepool's victories over Dagenham and Redbridge in all competitions have arrived on home soil.
  • Luke Norris has scored in both of his home appearances since joining the Daggers in January.
  • Hartlepool have conceded in each of their last eight away fixtures in League Two - only Exeter (9) are on a longer run currently.

Exeter v Portsmouth

  • Exeter are without a league win over Portsmouth in six attempts, losing four (D2).
  • Pompey have scored two or more goals in five of their last six league games against Exeter.
  • The Grecians have failed to score in each of their last three home games. Only Wycombe (4) have gone on a longer run without scoring at home.
  • Nobody has assisted more in League Two than Pompey's Ricky Holmes (8).

  • 30% of Pompey's goals this season have come in the 15 minutes leading up to half-time, a division-high proportion (10 of 33).

Mansfield v Southend

  • Mansfield are unbeaten in their last six at home to Southend in league competition, winning two (D4).
  • Southend won the reverse fixture earlier this season 3-0, courtesy of goals from Anthony Straker, a Jamie McGuire own goal, and Kevan Hurst.
  • The Stags have been shown six red cards this season, with two of those arriving in the reverse fixture at Roots Hall back in November 2013.
  • The Shrimpers head into this fixture unbeaten in their last eight in league competition (W3 D5).
  • Mansfield are without a win in four in league competition, drawing their last three (L1).
  • Kevan Hurst has netted three goals in his last four league games, with two of those arriving on the road.

Morecambe v Burton

  • Morecambe have netted two or more goals in seven of their nine league encounters with the Brewers.
  • Burton Albion are yet to win at Morecambe in league competition (D2 L2).
  • 22 of Morecambe's 38 points this season have come from losing situations, the highest tally from any side.
  • The Brewers' last three away league games have ended all square, with the last two finishing goalless.
  • The Shrimps have let in just 10 second half goals this season, a League Two low.
  • By contrast, Burton have conceded just eight times in the first half, also a League Two low.

Northampton v Plymouth

  • Northampton have only won one of their last nine league meetings with the Pilgrims (D4 L4).
  • Plymouth have not won at Sixfields since April 1951, drawing five and losing eight of 13 trips since that win.
  • The Cobblers have scored just two headed goals this season, a league low.
  • Plymouth have conceded just four times between the 16th and 45th minute this campaign, fewer than any other team in the division.
  • Northampton have managed the fewest number of attempts on target in the league this season - 73, 19 fewer than anyone else.
  • The Pilgrims have won just one of their previous six league away games (D3 L2).

Scunthorpe v Chesterfield

  • The Iron have only won one of their last eight against Chesterfield at Glanford Park, losing two and drawing five.
  • The Spireites are winless in seven against Scunthorpe however, taking just three points from the 21 available (D3 L4).
  • Scunthorpe are unbeaten in 13 league fixtures (W7 D6), the longest current run of any side in League Two.
  • Only Chesterfield have taken more points (21) than the Iron (18) in their last ten games.

Torquay v Bury

  • Torquay have scored in 12 of their last 13 league clashes with the Shakers (23 goals in total).
  • Bury have only lost one of their last 12 trips to Plainmoor in the Football League, however (W5 D6).
  • The Gulls have scored exactly one goal in each of their last five home games, winning once (D3 L1).

Wycombe v Accrington

  • The Chairboys have only mustered one win in five previous home league meetings with Accrington (D1 L3) and have never kept a clean sheet.
  • Accrington have scored a 90th minute goal in each of their last two meetings with Wycombe, earning themselves three extra points with these strikes.
  • Wycombe are currently winless in seven league fixtures, the current longest run by any side in the division (D2 L5).
  • Accrington are one of two sides who haven't scored via a defender this season (along with Dagenham and Redbridge).
  • Wycombe have conceded in each of their last 16 league fixtures, a record for a League Two side this term.
  • Stanley have shipped eight league goals in the opening 15 minutes this season, along with Mansfield, though only one of those has come on the road.

York v Cheltenham

  • York have only won one of their 11 previous Football League clashes with the Robins (D5 L5) and are without a win in nine.
  • Cheltenham have won four and lost none of their five previous trips to Bootham Crescent in the Football League (D1).
  • Four of the Minstermen's last six goals in League Two have been scored by Wes Fletcher.
  • The Robins have scored in each of their last ten league fixtures, the longest current streak from any League Two side.
  • York have gained a solitary point from behind this season in League Two, losing 11 of those 12 games.
